Karli is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic. Before becoming an RMT, Karli completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University as well as a Master of Science from the University of Waterloo. Her massage therapy experience includes working with chronic stroke survivors, breast cancer patients, pregnant women, and all types of athletes from weekend warriors to NHL players. Karli is also currently studying manual osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in hopes of gaining greater insight into how to help the body help heal itself.
As a former varsity soccer athlete who has experienced a variety of injuries, Karli recognizes the importance of massage therapy and osteopathic techniques for both injury prevention and rehabilitation. Countless misdiagnoses of one injury in particular sparked Karli’s career as a therapist and has led her to pursue the study of osteopathic manual practice. Karli brings a holistic, whole-body approach to therapy. She works to find the root cause of the problem and works with each patient to help them achieve their individual goals. Her approach allows patients to heal quickly and thoroughly and also helps to prevent re-occurring injuries.
Outside of work, Karli enjoys running, playing soccer and basketball and spending time with family and friends!
