David graduated from York University with specialized honours in Kinesiology and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During his degrees he worked part time as a biomechanist and as an exercise physiologist.
David uses biomechanical and functional assessment techniques to diagnose his patients. He uses ART, (electro) acupuncture, mobilization/manipulation, Kinesio Taping, and exercise prescription in his treatment plans. David believes in balancing rehabilitation with healthy lifestyle choices.
When David was young, he competed in Judo and wrestling tournaments. In university, he participated in varsity swimming, water polo and squash. He continues to enjoy seasonal water skiing and snowboarding and golf. Recently, David has begun competing in squash tournaments in hopes of advancing his game.
Throughout his career, David has worked with a number of professional athletes both in clinic and on the field assisting them with their rehabilitation and fine tuning their performance.
